Malory Towers by Enid Blyton at the Passenger Shed, Bristol.

..Set design by Lez Brotherston and front of house by Studio Three Sixty. My photography at Bristol venue Passenger Shed. I recently had the great pleasure of photographing the set and bar of the Enid Blyton play Malory Towers for ‘audience experience design’ company Studio Three Sixty. The set was by Lez Brotherston. The play was created by the company Wise Children and was playing at The Passenger Shed, Bristol. This was a great opportunity to use my wide angle lenses to really capture the detail of the set. I was granted access on set between shows, so it was key for me to work speedily and efficiently – it was all rather exciting. I thought I’d post the black and white versions of these pics, hope you like them. Thanks, Paul.

One of my favourite set of photos from this commission was autumn. I’ve asked Westonbirt Arboretum if I could share some with you and I’m happy to be able to post some here. Hope you like them…. You can find Westonbirt Arboretum through their website , Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Portrait Session photo shoot with musician, public speaker and podcaster Katie Elliott

Recently it was my great pleasure to photograph Katie Elliott for some new press shots… I know Katie as a talented multi-instrumentalist, at the moment she’s perhaps most well known for her piano playing (here’s a Spotify link to her beautiful album of piano music ‘Walking The Edge’ also available on Amazon), but she’s also a podcaster and public speaker who’s picking up a lot of attention. Katie’s company Little Challenges is ‘a place to find ideas, tools and inspiration to make being human a little bit easier’. You can find out information there about her podcasts and also forthcoming book.  Katie asked me if I’d like to do a portrait session… the brief was to take a set of images which would cover all of her various needs. We started with the headphones image above for her podcast.
