I specialise in commercial flash studio product photography, working with a wide range of clients. My projects include photographing hundreds of plants and small trees for Homebase, capturing review models of toasters and kettles for Which? Magazine, and shooting multiple book and magazine covers for illustrator Seb Braun.
I am fully equipped with professional LED lighting, backdrops, light tents, and studio lights, which can be set up in my studio or brought directly to your location. Many companies provide a side room or meeting space, where I create a tailored mini-studio setup, ready to handle both product and portrait photography with ease.
During shoots, I use a laptop tethered to the camera to provide clients with immediate results. This real-time feedback is highly valued and ensures we achieve the perfect shot.
One of the more memorable studio photography shoots I’ve done was taking portraits of a large collection of birds of prey (at the International Centre for Birds of Prey). I photographed many different birds including owls, vultures, eagles, condors and falcons. The portraits were taken in front of a studio backdrop and their handler brought them in to be photographed one by one being careful not to scare or alarm them at all times. This collection of photos made up my exhibition OWL and Bird/Bath. See my blog post about the exhibition for more info. You can also see the gallery page dedicated to birds of prey.
Get in touch to discuss your studio photography needs. There are no limits to where I can bring my set-up. I am a Bristol photographer but am perfectly placed to also cover London, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Cardiff.. you name it. See the Areas section for more information.
