Roll up, roll up…. there’s a photography competition on for school age children in the Wotton Times’ area running up to Dec 1st 2018
The theme is ‘Autumn‘… this is a nice broad theme so photographers can really run with it.
We’re inviting all school age children in the Wotton area to really consider this theme and to take a photo/s which expresses autumn to them…. here’s some inspiration:
- What does autumn mean to you?
- What signifies autumn?
- What makes you think autumn has arrived?
- How can we look at autumn in a different way?
- What colour palette makes us think of autumn?
- How does this season make us feel?
- Is autumn all about trees?
- What else means autumn to you?
There are two £30 Wotton voucher prizes, two £15 runner up Wotton voucher prizes and a digital camera – all waiting to be won.
The Wotton vouchers can be spent in any of the many shops in Wotton-under-Edge. The closing date is December 1st 2018 at midnight.
Here’s more info…
PRIZES:
There is also a KODAK DIGITAL CAMERA which will be awarded to the image which has shown the most interesting or creative approach to the subject.
What’s a Wotton Voucher?
That’s a good question! When asked to come up with a prize for this competition, Paul thought it’d be nice for the prizes to be spent in Wotton, so he came up with a Wotton Voucher. Basically the winners can nominate a shop where they’d like to spend the prize and Paul will visit and get a gift voucher for them!
