I believe that capturing events well is essential. Events offer so many opportunities for interesting, dynamic photography and video. Whether it’s team-building gatherings, live music performances, conferences, networking events, product launches, or corporate meetings, I love finding and preserving those key moments that make each event unique. My aim is always to document the energy, collaboration, and success of your event in a way that resonates with your audience.
I frequently photograph short meetings or workshops, providing clients with high-quality images for pitch documents, press releases, or as a record of the day. For larger, multi-day corporate conferences, I cover everything from the formal presentations to the more relaxed evening social gatherings, including meals, live music, and entertainment. These are often key networking moments that clients want to document. If your event includes an awards ceremony, I can capture official photos of winners receiving their awards, perfect for newsletters, social media, and internal communications.
As a Bristol photographer I’m perfectly placed to capture your events and press opportunites.
**NEW** I have added a list of suggested venues which are superb event and conference facilities around Bristol. Please see below the gallery.
In addition to event coverage, many of my clients take advantage of these gatherings to arrange a large group photo or individual staff portraits. These are great for refreshing your team profiles or creating a memorable memento of the event. If needed, I can bring professional lighting, backdrops, and other equipment to ensure polished, high-quality results.
As a freelance photographer, I understand the importance of planning every detail. Let’s discuss your event and your specific needs to ensure you get the best possible photos. Whether it’s a small, focused meeting or a large-scale annual conference, I have the experience and versatility to deliver exactly what you’re looking for.
I’ve recently covered events in Bristol, London, Nottingham, Swindon, Gloucestershire, and Cardiff, but I’m happy to travel anywhere in the UK. If you’re planning an event and need a reliable photographer who knows how to document it with professionalism and creativity, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Together, we can create images that truly reflect the success of your event.
If you’re looking for ideas where to hold your corporate event (conference, get together, social, team meeting, AGM, entire company update), here’s some popular Bristol venues with varying size rooms.
If these locations don’t fit the bill then do get in touch to discuss other places as over the 19 years I’ve been working as a Bristol photographer I’ve worked at most which are available!
If you’d like to suggest a quality addition to this list of locations then please do get in touch for it to be considered.
Recently refurbished with various size rooms available ranging from the main Beacon Hall to the Cellars for more intimate gatherings.
Overlooking the harbourside this memorable venue has great rooms for conferences which can swap seamlessly to large table dinner parties and then disco and party. In the past clients have incorporated access to the impressive exhibitions (such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year) as part of the experience of visiting for their guests.
This relatively small but perfectly quirky and impressive venue has the advantage of overlooking the historic Clifton Suspension Bridge. It works particularly well in Summer when your guests can enjoy the top level area with a bar and view before going downstairs for a meal.
A superb location for events which incorporates a large conference room upstairs with the option for your guests to visit the excellent science museum downstairs.
A very large hall which is great for AGMs and gatherings, I’ve also photographed theatre productions in this impressive venue.
Set up for intimate gatherings, this Bristol city centre location makes guests feel at home with nicely presented food and drink. Lighting is subdued and speeches tend to be kept to a minumum, with events focussing on networking, in my experience.
The genuine WOW factor of visiting Concorde is matched with dinner and speech facilities which make this venue increasingly popular in Bristol.
From the outside you will be forgiven for thinking you’re simply going to a hip cafe / cinema, but this large venue holds many rooms upstairs which can be used for conferences and events. Rooms are modern with simple white walls, which tends to lend itself well to creating inspirational break-out rooms for discussions without distracting environments.
An absolute find in Bristol, tucked away down a side alley close to Park Row, The Forge is a stunning location for small intimate events which you want full control over. In the past I have hired this venue for photo shoots and small events and every time it has been amazing. The furnishings are classic with bare reclaimed red brick walls and wooden surfaces.
Location: City centre – close to BRI / Park Street
