London Photographer and Videographer

As a freelance corporate photographer and videographer (since 2005), I do many shoots in London, at law firms and accountants, TV companies, banks, insurance firms and more. Although my office is close to Bristol, I often work around London.

One popular service I provide is being able to cover several locations around the UK for the same company, which gives a consistent look to the website photography.

Being the capital city, there’s so much happening which constantly needs quality photography and videography. I’ve found myself on many varied and wonderful London shoots, some even including people abseiling down a building.

Please see the portfolio section above to browse the various services which I’ve been supplying for 20 years, including portrait photography, as well as advertising, PR & editorial shoots, corporate eventsTV & Film workindustrialstudio work, and property, architectural and interiors / office shoots, to both corporate / business and private clients.

As well as London, I also cover many other areas, such as CardiffOxford and Bristol.

Creative Photography and Videography Services in London

London is an exciting and diverse city, offering an array of stunning locations perfect for photography and videography. From its iconic landmarks to its hidden gems, London is a city that allows for creativity to flow. Whether you’re looking for a dramatic backdrop for your corporate portraits, architectural shots, or creative editorial photography, London provides endless opportunities to capture unique and memorable images.

Iconic London Landmarks for Photography

One of the most recognizable locations in London is The Tower of London, with its centuries of history and impressive architecture. The historic fortress and its surrounding grounds offer a dramatic setting for both creative and corporate photography. Whether you’re looking for a backdrop of medieval towers or the modern skyline, the Tower of London provides a compelling mix of the old and new.

The Westminster Abbey is another iconic location, providing stunning Gothic architecture perfect for capturing a sense of grandeur. The intricacy of the Abbey’s design, combined with its historical significance, makes it ideal for both portraiture and event photography.

For a more modern architectural backdrop, the Shard offers panoramic views of the city from its observation deck, creating a dramatic backdrop for high-end corporate portraits or creative cityscape photography. The sleek, modern design of The Shard complements any contemporary shoot, while the vistas provide a captivating urban setting.

London’s Event Scene and Photography Opportunities

London plays host to an array of exciting cultural events throughout the year, offering great opportunities for event photography. The London Fashion Week is a global event that draws photographers from all over the world. Whether you’re capturing backstage moments, runway shows, or street style, the event provides ample opportunities to document cutting-edge fashion and the energy of the city.

Additionally, the London Sculpture Workshop is an exciting place to explore for those interested in fine art photography. With its dynamic exhibitions and evolving installations, it provides a unique artistic environment perfect for editorial and artistic portraiture.

Exploring London for Creative Portraiture and Architecture

London’s parks and gardens offer a beautiful contrast to its urban architecture, making them ideal for natural and relaxed portraiture. Hyde Park, one of the largest and most famous parks in London, is perfect for outdoor shoots with its wide-open spaces, serene lakes, and vibrant flowerbeds. Whether you’re taking casual portraits or branding photos, the park’s natural beauty creates a peaceful setting in the heart of the city.

Another excellent location for architectural photography is Southbank Centre, with its combination of brutalist and modernist architecture. This cultural hub on the Thames offers unique spaces for photography, from the striking Royal Festival Hall to the beautiful views across the river.

With its rich mix of history, culture, and modern architecture, London offers a diverse range of settings perfect for photography projects. Contact me today to discuss how we can capture the essence of this dynamic city through professional photography and videography.
