Being an industrial photographer means I often find myself at factories photographing the incredible creation processes of products, whether it’s food, fabric or mechanical. I’m a Bristol photographer, but also travel all around the UK to capture industrial photography for my clients.
I also provide progress photography for companies who have projects which need documenting, I can return to one spot regularly to show the ongoing works. At the end of this creation I often then take the finished product after the ‘sparkle clean’ so my clients have beautiful photos of their new creation. See my Architecture & Interiors page to see some examples.
In the past I have photographed steel and coal workers, the famous Mary Rose ship (see below), ship builders, huge machinery, huge sea cargo ships, lorries and much more.
I find that on industrial shoots it is essential to work effectively and with real focus, as my subjects are always busy and often only have a short window of time for me to get the pictures / video.
You can see to the left the image of the Mary Rose I took. This was an incredible shoot in which I spent a day photographing the various departments at the Mary Rose visiter centre. I was allowed to photograph the various items which were found aboard the ship. See my Mary Rose blog post to see more.
