Something a bit different, my photography on a Japanese skirt. A Unique Collaboration I was both intrigued and delighted when I received an email from a Japanese clothing company called Keith requesting to use one of my photographs on a skirt. As a photographer, you never quite know where your work might end up, but this was certainly a first for me! It’s always exciting when your images take on a new life beyond their original context, and this collaboration was definitely a fun and unexpected twist. The Story Behind the Photograph The image in question was originally taken during a shoot at the stunning Westonbirt Arboretum. I had been commissioned to capture the beauty of the arboretum for their Autumn collection, and the photos from that shoot were intended to highlight the vivid seasonal colors and natural beauty of the location. Model Session : Isabelle Rocks! When I was asked to do a photo session with an up and coming young model called Isabelle Williams we immediately started pondering locations close to Bristol. Many ideas were thrown around (including reservoir settings), but we settled on the excellent caves in Wotton-under-Edge, which are perfect for model shoots.

Model Photo Session: Paulina Recently a client very kindly gave me the chance of using a deserted warehouse in Bristol for a model photo shoot…. not wanting to miss out on an opportunity, I immediately set about finding the right model and make-up artist and was very lucky to find a striking model called Paulina and very talented make-up artist Ivona.

Model Photo Session: Ismay Zoom back three quarters of a year and I’m photographing a young model called Ismay, being tickled by long grass and battling against stinging nettles. We did this session just before my ten year anniversary OWL exhibition in Bristol, and the photos have been waiting to be shown ever since… well, it’s now time!

Photo Session with Bristol Singer Lady Nade Recently I had the great pleasure to meet and photograph the outstanding Bristol singer Lady Nade. I am a big fan of her music and wanted to do a session with her which had the feel of a fashion shoot, but with nods towards jazz photography, as her style has a real jazz quality.
